WHERE COMMUNITY LIVES
East Toronto Community House Service. ( ETCHS) is committed to building strong, vibrant communities serving over 15,000 residents in Eastwest Toronto every year. We help transform lives by working with people, understanding their needs, and supporting them in achieving their goals. For over 30 years, we have been opening doors for new Canadians; supporting youth, parents and seniors in becoming active, engaged citizens; and creating opportunities for residents to improve their lives and lead positive change in their neighbourhoods.
Congratulations to ETCHS New Executive Director
Halima Murji, President of the Board of Directors at ETCHS, announced today that Bonnie Hunter, currently Director of Talent and Culture, ETCHS, has accepted the role of Executive Director, effective June 6, 2022. Bonnie Hunter is stepping into this important role as a result of Zuckerman Annabel decision to retire after 30 years with ETCHS.
WHAT WE DO
In addition to assisting newcomers to Canada with settlement and integration, ETCHS also supports the positive development of families, the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and skill-building that leads to employment and personal growth.
